In the United States the numbers are rising, some slowly but rising and with every individual case there are dozens for more people they put at risk. More than 70 Countries has reported Swine Flu Cases as well. It is wise to use caution during this Holiday Weekend and to avoid small crowed spaces. Stay Away From Sick People and Stay Home If You Have Flu Symptoms

The total cases of the H1N1 Swine Flu Virus is 33902 as of 7-2-2009 total deaths are 170. This is only on one continent. This Viral Infection  is Global.

The only medication for the swine flu is an antiviral drug Tamifly.  Althought it does have side effects it can only be given by pharmacist with a prescrition,   Beware of Online Pharmacies that sell this anti-viral drug.  Do not use unless directed by a physician.

How many people die each year of boredom? I don't get bored in here so I'm safe... I think.. Plus it's fairly germ free.. *cough..sniff*

Just remember nearly every flu strain is a bird flu passed to another animal that can get bird issues like a pig that then transfers to a human. Birds can't make humans sick with the flu generally, but other animals can.

I agree. =) You have done well here, because generally this type of information is smuthered in a talking head's monologue. ;)

Thanks for providing it! Very few do, or know where to look.

Well just in case it doesn't, this is information I choose to provide, simple measures can result in less transmission.

No, it won't actually. It's just a tactic used by the media to get eyes on their news stories so they can sell more quicker for a short period of time.

Remember....

The swine flu? ;) SARS? Etc., etc. If you look at the history of this type of behavior you will understand news media's need to hook you in and blow things up.

And while many people need an evangelist for a cause, it does more harm than good to needlessly scare people with this information because it's of no use to them.

Again, the flu kills hundreds of thousands of people every year in the United States, a country with very decent medical resources. The swine flu may come back later this year, and on this we'll have to wait. But outbreaks of this type happen all the time, you'll just generally call it "that little bug going around."

Well then that number will probably triple.

These numbers are nothing compared to how many die of the regular flew alone in the US each year...
